    Photo THE INSPIRATION PROVIDER

I came across this really inspiring website, called THE INSPIRATION PROVIDER. And wow when I rather had known of the existence of this site! First of all than the styling study would be a lot easier, but also now it is wonderful inspiring to follow! I can only say that THE INSPIRATION PROVIDER really provides inspiration.

    2015 metallic calendar poster

This is not just a ‘regular’ 2015 calendar. (50x70 cm). First of all it is embossed with gold metallic foil, what gives it an extra special and luxurious look. Secondly, the calendar is (offset on 175 gsm high quality paper) printed on poster-size and thereby extra large and particular (50 x 70 cm). Because of this, it is a real eye-catcher in your home and even more so an art/decorative element than just a functional calendar.

-> For purchase (worldwide shipping) and more information about the calendar, check out the website of Kristina Krogh Studio, Art + Graphic Design.

Dutch Design Week, what you definitely have to see

The Dutch Design Week is coming up, but where to go? Stylingsinja made a selection of the must-sees for this year:

From 18 to 26 October 2014 DDW is the stage Dutch design for the thirteenth time. DDW is the Netherlands’s largest design event and this year I’m - of course - there again to give you a live report.

If you would like to go too, but have no idea where to go for the best inspiration ideas, here’s a few tips to prepare you:

    • The DAE Graduation Show 2014 is - year after year - a definite ‘must-see ‘, Here you’ll be inspired by the graduation projects of all bachelor and masters graduates of Design Academy Eindhoven that are showcased in de Witte Dame.
    • Presentation of series of do-it-yourself designs: This year, the DIY retailer KARWEI is a Dutch Design Week (DDW) programme partner. One of the things the chain of DIY retailers will be presenting in Eindhoven is a series of do-it-yourself designs. With this initiative, KARWEI wants to start a trend for making your own furniture.
    • The Dutch Design Week partners give young talent and the future of design plenty of attention this year. ABN AMRO presents the results of Driving Dutch Design and sets up seven so-called hotspots. The hotspots, under the curatorship of Miriam van der Lubbe, present work by Lilian van Daal, Emmy Cleophas, Christa van der Meer, Lucas Zoutendijk & Boele Zwanenburg, David de Zwart & Lisa Goudsmit, Stefan Schwalbe, Jannis Hülsen, Lenneke Langenhuijsen, Roos Meerman, Monica Alisse and Ilse Heesterbeek.
    • Every year there’s work of new, emerging designers and young talents on display at the Dutch Design Week. This year you should check out UNION11; an international group of young upcoming product designers who will exhibit brand new prototypes and innovative product, which will also be for sale at the TAC building.
    • Dutch Invertuals: a collective of individual designers with different backgrounds, but with one thing in common: experiment is principal. For five consecutive years Dutch Invertuals has presented and induced progressive new design within bold, daring, poetic and, sometimes, confronting exhibition contexts.

-> For more inspiration, routes and maps have a look at the DDW pageKeep an eye out for the (photo) report of the Dutch Design Week on BlogBloeme afterwards.
-> Read the report and take a look at the highlights of the Dutch Design Week 2013.
